Le Leeds - Lyon Symposium on Tribology is an annual international congress that brings together the scientific community to discuss recent developments in the field of tribology, organized since 1974 alternately in Leeds and Lyon.
Tribology is the science of contact, friction, wear and lubrication. It is at the interface of many disciplines, including mechanics, materials science and physico-chemistry.
The 46th edition, on the theme "Tribology in daily life", is organized by LaMCoS (UMR 5259) with LTDS (UMR 5513), and will take place from 2 to 4 September 2019 in Lyon.
Deadline for abstract submission is 24 February 2019.
