The University of Lyon is a Community of Universities and Institutions (ComUE) with 10 members, including Centrale Lyon, and 25 associates on the Lyon-Saint-Étienne academic site.
La ComUELyon Saint-Étienne enjoys an international reputation and a strong appeal. Numerous collaborations between establishments in both research and training are initiated thanks to a vast field of expertise, numerous networks and a strong local presence with companies and local authorities. As a member of the ComUE, Centrale Lyon plays an active role in this site dynamic.
Setting up a ComUE with experimental status
- participating in and coordinating actions such as the Student Welcome Desk or the Schéma directeur de la vie étudiante du site Lyon Saint-Étienne ;
- coordinating the mental health center for students ;
- promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship among students with the Centre d'Entrepreneuriat Lyon Saint-Étienne ;
- encourage the creation of start-ups among lecturers and researchers with the Pôle Universitaire d'Innovation;
- contribute to the implementation of the transfer and innovation policy entrusted to SATT Pulsalys;
- contribute to the definition of the joint real estate strategy in terms of campus development;
- assure the promotion of the site in the territorial ecosystem.
