As part of the Collège des Hautes Études Lyon Sciences, Centrale Lyon students can take advantage of shared modules and common courses at prestigious institutions.

These opportunities aim to create opportunitiesfor students and enable them to enrich their career paths and experiences through a pluridisciplinary approach. It fosters curiosity, creativity and creates encounters that enable better understanding of society.

The Collège des Hautes Etudes Lyon Sciences brings together 8 institutions: the Conservatoire national supérieur musique et danse de Lyon, the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, Mines Saint-Étienne, Sciences Po Lyon, VetAgro Sup, the emlyon business school, the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 and Centrale Lyon.

Students at Centrale Lyon have the opportunity to take a teaching module at one of the CHELS member institutions. This option enriches their academic career, broadening their field of knowledge and bringing new perspectives to their professional project.

Le Cours Commun: a cycle of 12 free lectures open to all, led by teacher-researchers from CHELS establishments. Each 1:30 lecture tackles a common theme through crossed perspectives, followed by an exchange between the speaker and the audience. The topics covered are linked to current societal issues, attracting a wide audience: students from CHELS establishments and other universities, teachers, and the general public.

By participating, you can obtain an attestation and, under certain conditions, recognition in ECTS credits. Find out more.
