Institut Carnot - Ingénierie@Lyon
Centrale Lyon has created an Institut Carnot-labeled structure, in partnership with other higher education and research establishments in Lyon (INSA Lyon, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, CNRS...). The primary missions of this structure are to:
- To bring together researchers and their experimental resources
- To foster public/private relations in a structured context
- To offer global research to the challenges of today and tomorrow
- To meet the challenges of industrial innovation
- To train future research leaders
The Institut Carnot Ingénierie@Lyon is particularly dedicated to research and innovation in the fields of transport, energy, healthcare devices and materials.
Competitiveness clusters
A competitiveness cluster brings together companies, research laboratories and training establishments in an identified territory and on a targeted theme. National and regional public authorities are closely involved in this dynamic. Centrale Lyon belongs to several competitiveness clusters in order to develop synergies and cooperation:
