Laboratories with an international reputation

All Centrale Lyon laboratories are associated with the CNRS, combining fundamental and applied research. This guarantees their recognition at the highest scientific level in France and abroad, and their anchorage in business reality.

Numbering 6, the school's research laboratories are Joint Research Units (UMR) that implement a dynamic scientific policy, structured around 5 major priority areas: nanotechnologies and nanomaterials, transport, energy, environment and bioengineering.
