In 2014 Centrale Lyon joined forces with educational and research establishments in Lyon and Saint-Etienne to create a Technology Transfer Acceleration Company (SATT) "Pulsalys". Its mission is to pool the resources and skills of public research establishments in the Lyon and Saint-Etienne ecosystem, with a view to accelerating the transfer of technologies from their laboratories.
