Management and Administration
The establishment is administered by a Board of Directors, assisted by a Council of Studies and a Scientific Council. These three bodies are made up of elected members representing staff and students, and external members.
Centrale Lyon is a trustee of 6 laboratories, mixed research units with the CNRS. For contracts with companies, the school relies on a filiale de valorisation Centrale Innovation.
To carry out its corporate philanthropy initiatives, Centrale Lyon has an Endowment Fund and its in-house school a foundation under aegis. A campaign committee accompanies fundraising.
The school's graduates are grouped together in two alumni associations: the association des centraliens de Lyon and the national association of female ENISE engineers.
Teaching and research
Campus Lyon-Écully
It is organized into six teaching and research departments, structured into disciplinary fields, responsible for fostering synergy between the establishment's two essential missions: training and research.
The departments are the place where the link between training and research takes shape.
Both fundamental and applied research is conducted within six research laboratories, all Unités Mixtes de Recherche with the CNRS (UMR).
Campus Saint-Étienne
It hosts both Centrale Lyon ENISE and its three specialty engineering degrees and Establissement training (CapECL, bachelor, master...).
