Centrale Lyon offers a wide range of courses, from Bachelor's to Master's degrees, accessible to international students and entirely in English. International applicants can enter the General Engineering program or the Bachelor of Science in Data Science for Responsible Business via specific competitive entrance exams, while admission to Master's programs is by application. This flexibility enables international students to join a renowned engineering school with an international outlook.

The Bachelor

International students can apply for the Bachelor of Science in Data Science for Responsible Business program, offered by Centrale Lyon and emlyon business school. This program is accessible via a competitive examination reserved for candidates preparing a diploma with specialization in mathematics, equivalent to the French baccalauréat (such as the IB, A-levels, High School Diploma, Abitur, etc.).

The generalist engineering curriculum

The generalist engineering cycle is open to independent candidates via an entrance exam organized by the Écoles Centrale group. International candidates can take advantage of a specific admission stream: the special "international cycle" entrance exam for MP, PC and PSI streams.

The special "international cycle" entrance exam is reserved for foreign students who have pursued higher education in a lycée in liaison with the French Embassy offering a Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles program (Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia). The written exams take place abroad, in the countries concerned, and the oral exams are held at CentraleSupélec.

Masters

Centrale Lyon offers a cycle of international scientific masters, taught in English. These two-year courses aim to provide students with a high level of scientific qualification.

These masters are backed by the internationally recognized research activities of the École and its partners. Projects in laboratories and in-company internships in industry form an important part of the training.

Students of foreign nationality have the opportunity to apply to these masters programs on an unpaid basis. Applications are reviewed on the basis of a dossier.
