The attractiveness ranking of engineering schools, published by DAUR Rankings, is based on a methodology founded on the analysis of over 1.3 million actual choices made by prep school students eligible to apply to several institutions. This model, which measures actual preferences between competing schools, provides a better understanding of post-prepa orientation dynamics.
In this 2025 edition, Centrale Lyon stands out for a high rate of choices in its favor when in competition with other schools. This performance confirms the school's growing attractiveness to preparatory students and testifies to the perceived quality of its engineering training.
This result complements other recent recognitions, such as its 10ᵉ place in the DAUR 2024 general ranking with AAA rating, or its positioning in the top 10 of L'Étudiant's 2025 ranking.
