A mechanical engineer and holder of a DEA in mechanical engineering, Christophe Janolin began his career in the paper industry and continued it in shipbuilding (civil and then military). He joined the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 1995 and teaches in the Mechanical Technology team of the MS-GM-GC department (Solid Mechanics - Mechanical Engineering - Civil Engineering). His teaching mainly concerns mechanical design and associated production techniques. He also teaches industrial safety and building design. Finally, he is one of the founding members of EPSA (Ecurie Piston Spot Auto).
Former member of the CHS (2001-2004) and former member of the Scientific Council (2005-2009) of the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, he is currently Director of the Mechanical Engineering Teaching Unit.
