Cécile Poquet studied mechatronics at École Normale Supérieure de Rennes and obtained the agrégation of mechanics in 2009. In 2014 she defended her thesis about design and command of a robot carrying an endorectal probe at the Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique (ISIR, Sorbonne Université, UMR 7222). Having taught at Polytech Sorbonne, at INSA Lyon and in BTS (program training high level technicians), she is now an Associate Professor in the solid mechanics, mechanical engineering and civil engineering department (MSGMGC). She teaches in the General Engineering program as well as the Engineering specialising in energy (Design of Facilities) program and is part of the teaching evaluation committee.
