Duret Guillaume

Prior to his thesis at Centrale Lyon, Guillaume Duret studied at the CPE Lyon engineering school, with a specialization in 3D image and synthesis. He also obtained a double degree with Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, validating the Master ID3D. His end-of-studies internship was with InnoduraTB, where he worked onrobotic simulation and path planning for an industrial bin picking application.

Thesis project

His work focuses on the use of synthetic data to improve scene understanding, particularly in the tasks of detection, 3D reconstruction and localization of objects - including deformable ones - in robotic applications.
