Objectives
The master 2 Ingénierie de la Santé trains specialists in technologies applied to healthcare, pharmaceuticals or laboratories. The course is divided into two tracks:
- Health Product Design and Optimization
- Medical Imaging and Signal System
Program
After an M1 in the biomedical field, the M2 year takes place over a teaching semester (autumn) and an internship semester (spring).
This pathway enables progression in the medical device field with a particular focus on methods, instruments and treatments for medical imaging and "Home Care" instrumentation.

Internship
Students must complete a 5-6 month internship in a company or research laboratory.
This course trains future PhDs or industrial R&D managers, specialized in healthcare product design. The training offers a galenic and analytical approach, taking into account industrial (property, patentability...) and clinical constraints.

Internship

Admission requirements and application
Pre-requisites
- Students holding a Master 1 or equivalent to Bac+4 (240 ECTS) obtained in health sciences.
- Centrale Lyon engineering students as part of a double degree.
