Applying for a master's degree

Centrale Lyon offers some twenty high-level scientific masters programs on its Lyon-Écully and Saint-Étienne campuses. Students can apply for the first or second year, depending on their profile and background.

International masters

  • Second applications period from 4 February 2026 to 1 April 2026
  • Response from the committee for the first admission period between 6 March 2026 and 13 March 2026.

Application procedure

All applications are considered on the basis of a dossier during the recruitment periods indicated above. The procedure differs according to the candidate's profile:

Two essential steps

  1. Applying on Études en France : some students are concerned by the "Études en France"1 procedure and must make a specific application to enroll in an educational establishment via the Études en France platform. This must be done in order to obtain a visa. Please note that the timetable differs from country to country.
