Presentation
Physicist by training, Stéphane Valette carried out his doctorate on the study of laser-material interaction in the femtosecond regime. Within the LTDS at Centrale Lyon, he is developing a research activity on the design and manufacture of complex surfaces enabling the behavior of liquids (wettability, adhesion) to be controlled within a biomimicry approach. The creation of the Master International Biomimicry and Surface Engineering - involving the school's two sites, aims to develop the theme for future generations of scientists.
