Presentation
Professor since 2013, Amir Si Larbi has alternately held the positions of Director of Training and Deputy Director of Research since 2017, while simultaneously assuming responsibility for the Master Civil Engineering, which still falls to him. Since 2019, he has also been head of the Geomaterials and Sustainable Construction (GCD) team at the LTDS.
Research projects
He works mainly on the rehabilitation of built heritage via the recourse to composite materials by considering multi-physical couplings at several scales, particularly under extreme stresses (fire, in particular). In recent years, the scope of its research activities has broadened to include the industrialization of the act of building, with a particular focus on 3D printing (formulation, process, characterization, evaluation).
Training activities
- Composite materials
- Heritage rehabilitation with respect to extreme stresses (fire and earthquakes)
