A lecturer and researcher in anthropology and sociology, Marie Goyon specializes in the anthropology of material culture. A member of the laboratoire EVS -Environnement, she is co-responsible for the Atelier Objets et urbanisation, which explores the role and place of objects in the making of our everyday lives and their mutations or transitions. Her work covers a variety of fields in France (fablabs & design - design and engineering - urban mobility know-how, ecology of "small gestures", objects and waste ) and Canada (know-how, globalization, gender and politics), exploring issues of use, representation and expertise, linked to objects and techniques. She is also responsible for the SHS-EG team within the department SHLS and the parcours Intrapreneurship and Innovation in 3rd year of the general engineer training.
