Presentation
Jean-Sébastien Gauthier has held several positions of responsibility in technical and managerial fields. As a civil engineer, he was in charge of technical building control projects, monitoring project conformity during the design and construction phases, covering all building trades. He was responsible for building and civil engineering structural projects, specializing in the design and calculation of concrete, wood, metal and soil structures. His expertise encompassed project engineering for a wide range of structures: buildings, engineering structures, civil engineering, hydraulics and marine engineering. At the same time, he contributes to the development of CATIA CIV (3D Experience) as part of his R&D activities. He currently teaches Civil Engineering at various academic levels, working with students from both the public and private sectors.
