A graduate engineer from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries de Strasbourg (ENSAIS), specializing in Electrical Engineering, Xavier Galtier is also an alumnus of the École Normale Supérieure de Cachan. He then pursued a DEA in Electrical Engineering, awarded jointly by École Centrale de Lyon, INSA Lyon and Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
