Presentation
Yohann De Castro was a lecturer at Orsay (2012 -2016) before joining INRIA Paris (2016-2017) as a delegate, then the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech as an HDR Researcher (2017-2018). He has been appointed university lecturer at Centrale Lyon in 2019 within the DMI of Camille Jordan Institute. He has been a member of the Institut Universitaire de France since 2022.
Research projects
He is working on Machine Learning with applications in signal processing and bio-statistics. He is interested in stochastic optimization, latent position models (graphs, time series) and high-dimensional models (genomic data, medical imaging, astronomy, biology).
Training activities
- Responsible for S8 Machine Learning and a 3A course on parsimony and high dimensionality.
