Presentation

Normalien student of the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) de Cachan, Laurent Blanc obtained his external agrégation in mechanics in 1998 and his doctorate in 2005 for research carried out at LMT-Cachan on the consideration of structural heterogeneities in modeling and calculation of medium-frequency vibrations by the variational theory of complex rays.

He is currently lecturer in the department of solid mechanics, mechanical engineering, civil engineering (MSGMGC) and researcher at the Laboratory of Tribology and Systems Dynamics (LTDS), UMR CNRS 5513, at École Centrale de Lyon.
