Summary

In this seminar talk, past and recent activities on robotics for space exploration conducted by Prof. Yoshida are introduced. Prof. Yoshida has been working on a variety of robotics research topics with respect to the dynamics and control of psace robotic systems. His interests are ranging from orbital free flying robots to planetary exploration rovers. The talk will highlight Japanese asteroid mission (HAYABUSA-2), the current challenges faced by the robotic lunar exploration and the background technology needed for micro-rovers development.
