Summary
Our 3rd Ethical Café will address the theme of transhumanism. The scientific progress of the last decades opens up possibilities for the application of new technologies to humans. The increase in intellectual and physical capacities and the lengthening of life expectancy are today conceivable. Nevertheless, many ethical questions arise as to the borderline between humanity and robots, the ownership of artificial intelligence and other autonomous systems, the use of artificial organs or limbs, etc.
