Henry Wong

CNRS Research DirectorLTDS

H. Wong graduated from the French National School of State Public Works (ENTPE) in 1984, then obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering in 1994. He is a researcher of LGCB (ENTPE) since end of 1995, and joined the LTDS since early 2012 following an alliance between the two laboratories LGCB and LTDS. His research activities concern the multi-physics coupled behaviours of geomaterials (soils, rocks and compacted earth at different degrees of saturation) and geotechnical structures (underground storage of nuclear waste and CO2, tunnels under construction). In parallel to his research activities, he teaches Soil Mechanics at ENTPE and in the Specialized Master on «Tunnels and Underground Structures » and limit equilibrium analysis within the framework of the Master Civil Engineering School doctoral MEGA.
