Geneviève Grenet

CNRS Research DirectorSTMS/INL

Holding a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Claude Bernard
University – Lyon-I on tensor methods and their applications in
spectroscopy, Geneviève Grenet worked for twelve years within
the Photoelectron Spectroscopy team at the Institute of Nuclear
Physics of Lyon (IN2P3). In 1994, she joined the Materials and
Heterostructures team of the Lyon Institute of Nanotechnology
(INL) at École Centrale de Lyon, whose activities focus on the
search for new materials in order to develop components and
devices for optical telecommunications and microelectronics. Her
research contributes to the collective research effort with special
regards to the characterisation of surfaces and interfaces by
photoemission (XPS and XPD).
