Dr. Franck Dahlem is a condensed matter physicist at the Laboratory of Tribology and Dynamic Systems (LTDS, UMR5513) and a lecture at École Centrale de Lyon (CNU 28) since September 2011. His expertise is a local probing of electrical and electronic phenomena at the microscopic level. Currently, his research focuses on the electrical charges generated by contact and friction for which he has been funded by the young research ANR grant entitled NanoTribElec. He is also involved in the development of better electrical contacts as on III-As material. In addition, he contributes to the lectures on material engineering in the École Centrale de Lyon.
