Mohand-Saïd Hacid

Mohand-Saïd Hacid is a full Professor in Computer Sciences at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. He received his engineering degree in Computer Sciences at the university Tizi-Ouzou, Algeria, in 1987 and his PhD degree in computer sciences from INSA (National Institute of Applied Sciences), France, in 1991. From 2004 to 2007, he was the director of the Master 2 by research of Lyon. He was appointed director of CIES (Centre d’Initiation à l’Enseignement Supérieur) de Lyon from 2006 to 2011. From 2009 to 2015, he was Associate Director of LIRIS and from 2015 to 2020, he was Director of LIRIS. His research deals with the theoretical exploration and convenient utilization, of formalisms and inference techniques capable of improving the level of abstraction, productivity, and reliability in designing advanced information systems. The target application domains are: big data, semantic Web and security of information systems.
