Daniel Juvé

Daniel Juvé is an alumnus of École Centrale de Lyon and is a Docteur es Science from the University of Lyon. He is the Head of the excellence laboratory Lyon Acoustics Centre (Labex CeLyA) since 2011. He teaches Acoustics and Fluid Mechanics at École Centrale de Lyon. His main research interests focus on noise generation by flows and propagation of acoustic waves in non-homogeneous or random fluids. He is a member of the Aeroacoustics Specialists’ Committee of the Council of European Aeronautical Societies (CEAS) and of the scientific committee of the French Foundation for Research in Aeronautics and Space (FRAE). He also serves as an associate editor of the Journal of Sound and Vibration and of the International Journal of Aeroacoustics. Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America and Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, he is the recipient of the 2011 Medal of the French Acoustical Society (SFA) and of the 2017 Aeroacoustics Award of the CEAS.
