Damien Voyer

Assistant professorEEA/Ampère

Damien Voyer received his Engineering degree from INSA de Rennes, France, in 2002 and his PhD in Electromagnetism from École nationale supérieure d’électrotechnique, d’électronique, d’informatique, d’hydraulique et de télecommunications de Toulouse (ENSEEIHT) in 2005. He is Assistant Professor at École Centrale de Lyon since 2006. His research is carried out within the Ampère Laboratory and deals with the numerical modelling in bio-electromagnetism from the cellular scale to the human scale, mostly using the finite element method. Historically, the Ampère Laboratory was concerned about numerical dosimetry in the low frequency range (computation of the electromagnetic field inside the human body due to power lines for example). Recently, we focus our attention on the effects of the electromagnetic field at the cellular scale, theoretically and experimentally (electrorotation and electroporation).
