Benjamin Chouvion

Associate professor in structures dynamic (CNU 60)MSGMGC/LTDS

Benjamin Chouvion graduated with a degree in Engineering from INSA de Lyon in 2006. At the University of Nottingham, Benjamin Chouvion obtained a PhD and pursued a postdoctoral position in Mechanical Engineering on MEMS dynamics. Back to France and after a couple of years in industry as an R&D engineer specialised in structural optimisation, Benjamin Chouvion worked on more fundamental researches on non-linear and stochastic dynamics in Marseille. Now Assistant Professor in non-linear rotordynamics of turbomachinery, he joined the Tribology and System Dynamics Laboratory (LTDS) in 2014 to reinforce the team working on the PHARE Project, and is part of the teaching team on vibration in the Department of Solid Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
