Engineering specialising in Energy (Design of Facilities)

Since September 2012, a degree in Engineering specialising in energy has been available to students through the route of apprenticeship and for professionals through the route of lifelong learning. This formation, in partnership with ITII in Lyon, is the first vocational Engineering curriculum offered by Ecole Centrale de Lyon.

This program prepares students or experienced professionals for their future responsibilities as engineers in the domain of the production of energy.  This formation - taught in French - is centred around the designing of energy facilities including: thermal power stations, hydroelectric dams, or the smallest geothermal installations, the wind turbine, biomass, solar or photovoltaic energy.
