16/12/2005: Transparence et réalisme économique : les paris de l'Ecole Centrale de Lyon
Le premier Conseil d'administration de l'Ecole Centrale de Lyon avec Patrick Bourgin comme nouvel administrateur provisoire s'est tenu le 15 décembre avec l'ensemble des administrateurs qui ont  répondu présents à ce dernier rendez-vous annuel. Au programme, des dossiers essentiels comme le budget 2006 de l'Ecole ou encore la très attendue réforme de la 3e année.

 15/12/2005: Patrick BOURGIN, administrateur provisoire de l'Ecole centrale de Lyon
C'est à un ancien centralien de Lyon que revient désormais l'administration provisoire de l'Ecole centrale implantée à Ecully. Directeur adjoint depuis la rentrée universitaire, Patrick Bourgin assumera dorénavant ces nouvelles fonctions. Il assurera ainsi la continuité suite au départ de Jacques Labeyrie qui avait été élu en 2004 par le Conseil d'administration de l'école.

 16/09/2005: Official opening of the Ecole Centrale de Pékin
The official opening of Ecole Centrale de Pékin took place on September 16, 2005 as part of the "Year of France in China" celebrations with The Senat President Christian Poncelet. The first Grande Ecole of French-speaking engineers in China, the Ecole Centrale de Pékin has been welcoming 108 students from the best Chinese high schools since the opening of the first term on September 5, 2005.

 14, 15 et 16/03/2005: "Behind the mirror" or how to see one's life in a different light
Since 2002, about 60 students have been gathering every year in a company called Commuz' to write, produce, direct and perform a musical.

 07/03/2005: Centrale Graduate School signed on March 7 a double-degree agreement with the Keio University (Japan)
The goal is to graduate 24 students each year, among them 12 Japanese students ans 12 French students.

 08/02/2005: Photographer Marc Riboud back in alma mater with an exhibition
The 2005 students arts week Raout'Art begins on February the 14th with a private view of a photographs exhibition in presence of the artist: Yesterday's and today's China by an atypical Central Lyon alumnus.
