Computer services and network on the campus
On the first day of the school year, each student gets their e-mail account from the Centre de Ressources Informatiques (CRI).
They then have their own e-mail address and can use their e-mail account:
- on the School's e-mail server, by connecting (free of charge) from any of the computers available on campus;
- or on their own computer on campus if they have their own Internet connection.
The CRI's webmail service also makes it possible to access your e-mail account off-campus.

Internet connection
The School provides a 100 Mbit connection via the Rénater network throughout the campus, including dorms.
All of the self-service computers on the campus are connected to the Internet. There are also Internet terminals available in the students' center.
In the dorms, all rooms and apartments enjoy free access to the School intranet. The students' IT association ECLAIR provides the Internet access: you need to:

- join ECLAIR, for an annual subscription of €12, at the "chaîne de la rentrée" on the first day of term;
- pay a €4.50 monthly fee to the School as owner of the network infrastructure.Self-service terminals
Students have free access to a computer at various places on campus (the programs installed depend on the organization managing the equipment: the CRI or the library, for example):
- 2 rooms with Windows, in building F7 (24 computers)
- 1 room with Unix, in building F7 (16 computers)
- 3 PC rooms in building H10 (mezzanine) (around 40 computers)
- around 20 computers in building S3, managed by the library and External Relations Dept
- Internet connexions are available in the students' center

Equipment rental and purchase
The the students' IT association ECLAIR has a BlackFish service for members: PC rental at €5.50 per month

The CRI IT resource center can provide a wide range of software at discount prices (pricelist available on the Intranet).
The students' IT association ECLAIR is dedicated to managing the integration of network technology in the students' everyday life. With this aim in view, in addition to the services already described, ECLAIR offers:
- free access to a large number of classic software applications (cost-free and Microsoft products)
- connection to RezoSup (an IRC - Internet Relay Chat - server): http://rezosup.org
- hotline for all questions
- training modules on various themes throughout the year
- students' website (accessible by extranet)
- hosting club and association websites.
